Tom & Sarah Steele are two Cape Breton residents who in recent years moved back to the island after retiring and returning to Tom’s old family home. Tom has devoted himself to building a Cordwood Construction, using wood milled from his very own family property, and locally sourced materials including our very own metal roofing system; 1.5″ Snaplock in the colour Burgundy. The building will be accented with custom perforated soffit made in our shop too.! Tom brings this project to life to begin restoring an sail boat that’s been in the family for generations, we can’t wait to see the final project, and are so grateful to be able to keep this project close to home.
